A personal slide-show for your eyes and ears only. You choose the journey and Ryan Van Winkle will bring you on a sometimes surprising, sometime surreal, tour accompanied by the ambient soundtrack of Dan Gorman. Performances are under 10 minutes. A rare chance to travel, listen and pause in one small space.
Ryan Van Winkle is a poet living and working in Edinburgh. His poetry / theatre experiment Red, Like Our Room Used to Feel was a top 10 highest rated show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012. The Red Room has appeared at the Battersea Arts Centre and the London Literature Festival. His first collection, Tomorrow, We Will Live Here was published by Salt in 2010 and his poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, AGNI, Poetry New Zealand and elsewhere. He was awarded a Robert Louis Stevenson fellowship in 2012.

Electronic/experimental artist Dan Gorman lives in Edinburgh, Damascus, London. He also works as an experimental sound researcher-collector. He has completed field recordings in Northern Afghanistan, Syria and in a dome of an abandoned American military base in Teufelsberg, Germany. Dan has released 3 albums available from Invisible Agent and Forest Records. Dan recently released his 3rd album on Invisible Agent entitled this is danseizure a journey through his life in electronica, sqweee and electro.
