November’s Bruncheon (9th) features the fine accordion playing of Isi Lohss. Isi has made the ‘Sound of Muesli’ a brilliant mellow music mix for hipper kippers. Isi now passes the Bruncheon production wheel over to William Douglas. Some of Scotland’s best photographers have exhibited their work at the OOTB Drill Hall. Craig Buchan’s Commitment/Consumed (5th-13th) continues this tradition with some fine societal reflections. From 25th Nov – 5th December My Journey with Women’s Aid features the voices and stories of women, children and young people.
November Flea Markets (2nd and 30th) promise an ever popular chance to acquire much loved treasure and trinkets. The Vintage Kilo Sale (23rd) offers a similar clothing orientated rummage fest.
Similarly popular and no less active, Wiff Waff away (13th) at the monthly ping pong night for all ages with music, drink and great Drill Hall cafe food.
Tickets are now on sale for The Frog Princess (Mon 9th, Tue 10th & Wed 11th December) The Leith based and much acclaimed Puppet Lab combine storytelling and puppetry full of warmth and humour, for audiences aged 3 –7 years old and their families.
