Imaginary Festivals Project
6-17 August
Drill Hall Cafe
A performance starts when you first hear about it, and ends when you last think about it.
The Imaginary Festivals Project is a collective game of make believe, an evolving installation, a review sheet and a fictitious venue, situated at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Join artists Rohanne Udall and Paul Hughes daily in the Forest Fringe cafe where they and a community of artists and audiences will be writing, collecting and mapping a festival of imagined and impossible work. We invite you to come and help us write the art that might never or can’t ever be, collected in a festival periodical of reviews, found imagery, and interweaving narratives.
As part of this project, a printed programme of work will be curated for an imaginary venue in collaboration with the Forest Fringe.
