Disability History Scotland
Friday 3rd October 2014
6.30pm-9pm
Come along to this exhibition and community event on the theme of change.
The First World War brought about cultural change to all the citizens of the U.K. and beyond. In particular it gave a new identity and cultural value to those who were disabled. In the same way the outcome of the Scottish referendum will lead to a re definition of the people of Scotland and of those from the rest of the U.K. What will the identity and the cultural value as well as place in society for disabled people come about as a result of the referendum? Disability History Scotland invites everyone disabled or not to come along and talk about identity and change after the referendum.
