Comics Workshop

Where: Out of the Blue Drill Hall, 36 Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh.
Age range: 16-25
Working with independent comics artist Malcy Duff, #artcore created a free comics workshop where young people could freely drop in. Participants were free to work to activities set by Malcy or simply use the space and resources to work on their own material. A lot of the young people involved worked with other #artcore projects and also regularly contributed to “Opposable Thumbs” the #artcore comics compilation.

At our new weekly comics meet ups, cartoonist Malcy Duff will present tips, tricks and activities to help develop your own style, as well as working collectively on printing monthly comic compilations.
