LeithLate launch their inaugural panel talk sessions which invite special guests to talk about topics significant to Leith. The subjects for discussion and timings are as follows:
12pm – The Politics of Public Art
2pm – The Value of Art and Artists
4pm – Gentrification in Leith
Special guest panel speakers include:
The Politics of Public Art – Emily Gray (Civic Room project manager and curator) and Fraser Gray (fine/street artist).
The Value of Art and Artists – Laura Doherty (Cultural Benefits project) and Alistair Gentry (artist and writer).
Gentrification in Leith – Tim Brinkhurst (Young Fathers manager) and Stacey Hunter (creative producer).
Event chaired by Yasmin Sulaiman.
