The Jellyman’s Daughter are a unique duo from Edinburgh. Their interweaving vocal harmonies are complimented by an interesting mix of cello, mandolin and acoustic guitar. One of the distinguishing features of The Jellyman’s Daughter is the innovative rhythmic style of cello playing providing a catchy percussive backbeat to some of their songs, contrasted by the intimacy of others.

Dog On A Swing is the pseudonym under which Ed Ritchie writes and plays music, based in Edinburgh. Sometimes solo, he likes to bring in other musicians on a fluid and flexible basis This month, DOAS are releasing their debut album Autonomy. It’s a loose narrative about Ed finally getting treatment for his depression/anxiety and the autonomy he gained as he gradually got his life back together. Autonomy is available to pre-order now at dogonaswing.co.uk, where you can also hear the two previous EPs, On Love and After Work.
With a great grandmother who played piano for the silent films, Jo Foster has inherited a love of the piano as the main melody to her songs alongside voice, drums, guitar, beatbox and flugelhorn. Hailing from the East Neuk of Fife, Jo has collaborated with members of the Fence Collective, performing and recording with King Creosote, Withered Hand and The Aliens. A recent residency in Canada led to a live session on Vancouver Radio and tour of British Columbia playing festivals and house concerts. As a new artist on Triassic Tusk records, Jo’s single was released in March 2017 as part of the Tiny Vinyls series, and Jo is currently working on her debut album.
Live music from 11.30am – 2.30pm. Free entry and all are welcome!
