Freeze Frame Film Club presents ‘The Lost Boys’ (1987)
Saturday 23rd September 2017
Doors open 6.30pm / film & intro start at 8pm
“Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It’s fun to be a vampire.”
Freeze Frame welcomes you back for the 2017/18 season with this classic 1980’s horror/ comedy. It is 30 years since Jason Patric reluctantly arrived in Santa Carla, a coastal resort with all the usual temptations of sun, sea and carnival rides. Only problem is the gang of biker vampires terrorize the town and want to turn him and his family into the ‘blood-sucking Brady Bunch’.
With beautifully stylised scenery and eerie fog popping up throughout, this film is a great combination of humour, action and over the top horror gore.
This year for the first time we are taking part in Scalarama – visit www.scalarama.com to see other film club and special cinematic events taking place all over Edinburgh and the UK this September!
Tickets: £5 for film and popcorn / £15 for 2 course celluloid inspired meal and film.
