Gaza – Before & After Exhibition

Tuesday 11th to Saturday 15th March 2025
10.00am - 5.00pm, Free Entry

Series of powerful photographs and miniature dioramas illustrating Gaza before, during and after.

“As part of the exhibition, Glasgow artist and activist Euan Sutherland has created a number of miniature dioramas showing scenes from Gaza – a continuation of his work landscapes of LOSS, these are the black BOX series.

In direct response to the many months of horror in Gaza, Euan’s work looks back at the legacy of (and ongoing) brutality inflicted on the Palestinian people throughout the years. Where imposed removal, segregation and imprisonment continues alongside destruction of infrastructure, land theft and many other human rights violations. These black boxes are recorders of some of these events – both specific and generic – showing us uncomfortable truths the mainstream media ignores and western governments refuse to challenge. Pulling back the curtain of propaganda.

Also as part of the exhibition, “the Network of Photographers for Palestine will present 24 images entitled ‘Gaza – Before and After’ . These show the absolute devastation brought about by the Netanyahu government in its attempts at genocide of the Palestinian people. All the photos were taken by Palestinian photographers on the ground in Gaza”.
