Abbeymount Open Studios Weekend

Out of the Blue Abbeymount Studios are excited to open their doors to the public again for their Christmas Open Studios Weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December. It’s your chance to meet the resident artists and browse an exciting variety of works. 

Come along to see the creative spaces, with doors open on both building floors so you can peek into the working studios and see what the artists and makers have been creating. There will even be a chance to purchase some unique Christmas gifts.

Everything is handmade by local designers and makers in the heart of Edinburgh.

Come and join then at Out of the Blue Abbeymount Studios from 12noon to 5pm each day.

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

    We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
