Out of the Blueprint run an artist in residence programme at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall which encourages artists to push the boundaries of their creative practice and embrace the unpredictability and freedom of the riso print process. During her time as artist in residence, Morvern Graham has been researching and exploring the folklore and mythology of the local Leith area. A born and bred Leither, Morvern’s Leith Folk & Lore exhibition celebrates and showcases Leith’s unique locality and history through timeless stories and beautiful illustration. The exhibition is open from March 31st – May 26th (Monday to Saturdays).
As ever, a considerable number of classes, workshops, events, markets, and exhibitions make good use of space at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall. A great deal of this activity is supported by the much acclaimed Drill Hall cafe.
