Package-free Pop-up Shop – Bambú (Living Sustainably)

Various dates

Bambú Living Sustainably will be taking a break from the regular weekly pop-up at the Drill Hall from 27th January for maternity leave until further notice.  In the meantime, for any sustainable and plastic-free products, Bambú Living Sustainably will be at the regular Leith Market on Saturdays (1st, 2nd and 4th Sat) and special events at the Drill Hall. Check out the Bambú website and social media pages (see below) for updates.

Bambú Living Sustainably package-free pop-up shop is a young start-up, aiming to raise awareness in reducing plastic and packaging use in our modern daily life. They offer a range of healthy package-free snacks (nuts, dried fruit, seeds, special mixes) to complement a healthy diet, staples (organic pasta, rice, pulses, oil), household refills (washing-up, hand-wash, laundry liquid), easy swaps (soap, shaving & shampoo bars) and more. They also stock the lovely upcycled cotton bags from #zerowasteshopper and other local producers, to encourage more people to re-use bags to reduce waste.

Please BYOC (bring your own containers) to reduce packaging & save money.

Bringing plastic-free shopping closer, so you don’t have to travel as far!

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
