Bruncheon! featuring Jemima Thewes, Tim Lane & Candythief

Saturday 13th June 2015
11.30am - 3pm, free entry

Brunch and live music event at the Drill Hall Arts Café. Local musical talent creating a chilled out atmosphere alongside delicious home-made café food in the open space of the Drill Hall…

Prepare yourself for an insider tip: We are excited to announce Jemima Thewes & Tim Lane as our next main Bruncheon act on 13th June. Having launched her fabulous EP at the House Concerts earlier this year and playing various trendy locations such as Knockengorroch Festival we’re extremely proud she is joining us! Traditional folk and self-penned songs with a floaty and haunting quality and intriguing lyrics – Jemima’s music will not leave you untouched. Her gorgeous husky yet clear voice is accompanied by ukulele and a rare wooden box called tongue drum (and possibly other curious instruments too).

Also our in-house musical talent Diana de Cabarrus AKA Candythief will be performing a set beforehand.

And Kippers, seasonal specials, smoked haddock chowder, breakfast rolls, tea, coffee, cakes and more… . Bruncheon – the perfect antidote to the working week! Stroll down from Leith Gala Day at the Links, come rain or shine, the Drill Hall Arts Cafe is where you want to hang out on a Saturday!

Music from around mid-day.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
