Bruncheon featuring THE HONEYS & NIC TATE AND THE SHARKS

Saturday 13th April 2019
11.30am - 2.30pm, free entry

April Bruncheon will see a smashing line-up with new trio THE HONEYS led by the accomplished Phil Hopwood. Honeyed 1950s-style vocals with gypsy jazz backing on guitar and fiddle. As well as quirky girl-trio NIC TATE AND THE SHARKS, who “boast a meticulously honed style of vocally driven singer-songwriting. Expect a beautiful combination of guitar, cello and cajon, and harmony of the kind that only exists between great friends”. What a beautiful way to put it – so please come and see these fabulously promising musical acts, as always paired with tasty treats from the Drill Hall Arts Café. Kippers, chowder, bacon rolls, breakfast muffins, coffee, tea and bloody marys. Any brunch delicacy you like, you name it, we’ll have had it on the menu and will take requests!

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
