Creative Electric’s Guerilla Art Project
March - June 2015
#artcore collaborated with Creative Electric on the Guerilla Arts Project, where artists and participants created exciting new theatre and art experiences in public spaces.
Based at the Bongo Club, Creative Electric worked with young and emerging performers in a variety of city centre locations including the Royal Mile, Cowgate & Hunters Square.
The guerilla arts microproject launched with a interactive, durational public performance on Hunters Square on Sunday 8th March, where audiences and performers shared ice cream.
Creative Electric is a critically acclaimed, award winning theatre company who create contemporary performance based on real experiences. Often their work is interactive, sometimes its personal, at times its one to one.
Their work has been performed in both Scotland and Sweden, in theatres, studios, art galleries, nightclubs, on trains, in fields, city centre squares and on rooftops.
