Salt, vinegar, sugar, spices and fruit – Learn traditional methods of keeping food and preserving seasonal fruit & veg. A great workshop if you have an allotment or raised beds, want to reduce food waste or just want to make store cupboard staples for your toast!
This workshop will teach you the methods for jam making and chutney with what is in season and locally available and give you the skills to make a variety of preserves at home.
Aprons, materials and refreshments are all provided. Please bring jars if you have them but we have some here if you need them.
