February 2014 News

30th January 2014

You are guaranteed a warm soon-to-be Spring welcome to the OOTB Drill Hall this February. The drill hall is always home to many and varied workshops and classes. February sees the usual eclectic mix of aerial, circus, music, dance, visual art and theatre classes, and groups catering for the very young to the very old. Talking of catering, the OOTB Drill Hall Cafe not only supports young people into employment through an acclaimed Cafe Training Project, it also serves delicious food and initiates exciting projects.

February’s Freeze Frame (14th) is a brand new classic film club at the Drill Hall with a delicious pre-show 2 course meal from a special guest chef. The Flea Market (22nd) continues to be bursting with bargains, and Bruncheon (8th) will provide Bowie inspired music and food. Wiff Waff Wednesday (19th) serves up a not to be missed combination of food, music, table tennis and friendly fun.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
