Freeze Frame Film Club presents: A Matter of Life and Death (1946)

Friday 4th November 2016
Doors open 6.30pm, film at 8pm

Dir. Michael Powell & Emeric Pressburger

“Nothing is stronger than the law in the universe, but on Earth, nothing is stronger than love.”

Join us to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the London premier of this romantic and highly influential British classic. A brief conversation can be all it takes for love to strike for Kim Hunter and David Niven. Then a fatalistic mix up in the dense English fog means David Niven must argue the case for his own life against a jury of historical characters. Resident film buff Dylan Matthew will be introducing the film and treating us to some extras from the 1947 British Film Review and our special guest chef will be preparing a delicious heaven and earth themed menu.
Don’t miss this visually stunning film on the big Freeze Frame screen!

3 Course celluloid inspired meal £15 / admission £3
