Freeze Frame Film Club presents Once (2007)

Friday 17th February 2017
Doors open 6.30pm, film screening at 8pm

Director: John Carney

Not a typical romantic circa February 14th musical but an understated and subtle story of two people who meet on the streets of Dublin and don’t fall in love. The streets and the shops of the city form the backdrop to their growing friendship and their mutual love of music.

One of the top rated films of 2016 was John Carney’s Sing Street and here is the chance to see his low budget film debut on the big screen with the Drill Hall cafe team providing the harmonic accompaniment in the form of a lovely three course meal inspired by the film and the setting.

You can join us at Freeze Frame for film and food for the grand total of £17 when booking in advance on Eventbrite or just come and enjoy the film for £3 admission.
