Freeze Frame Film Club presents To Have and Have Not (1944)

Saturday 20th January 2018
Doors open 6.30pm / film & intro start at 8pm

The iconic Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall team up for the first time in what will become one of Hollywood’s most famous pairings both on and off screen. In typical Bogart fashion he is a man on the outside wishing to keep war and politics at arm’s length but through self interest and the influence of Marie Browning, a beautiful nightclub singer on the Vichy controlled island of Martinique, he and his shipmate Eddie, become embroiled with the Free French Resistance.

The irony of a Caribbean themed menu in the main hall in the freezing Scottish January is not lost on us so for the occasion we will be moving our screening into the heated side hall! Expect rum, coconuts and pineapples in your meal along with the scorching on screen chemistry of the two stars.

Doors open at 6:30pm/ Movie & Intro at 8:00

£15 for a two course meal and film or come for popcorn and film only for £5.00
To book call 0131 555 7100 or email stephanie.haigh@outoftheblue.org.uk

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
