Freeze Frame screening of His Girl Friday (1940)

Friday 17th October 2014
Doors open at 6.30pm, film screening at 8pm

This month Freeze Frame Film Club present the fast talking Howard Hawks comedy about journalism and jealousy – Hildy is about to ditch the newspaper trade and marry a insurance salesman but her ex, in the form of a young and charming Cary Grant, has other ideas. This fast paced, fast talking comedy is a joy to watch – just try to keep up!

We also will have the pleasure of new special guest chef Anna Hamilton, creative director of Alright Treacle (www.alright-treacle.com) so come and join us for a seasonal and cinematic inspired 3 course meal for £15, free popcorn, brilliant company and another great film.

Cover Charge of £2.50 for an adult or £2 for kids payable at the door or in advance at the cafe.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
