Introduction to Enamelling

Learn how to apply liquid enamel to make colourful and exciting patterns to your metal The Precious Metals Workshop

This workshop is suitable for beginners and also jewellers who want to add another skill to their belt.  It will cover various ways to apply colour and patterns to your metal using coloured enamels. 

The workshop will be split into two blocks.

The morning will be spent introduction you to powder enamels. You will be provided with copper to experiment with. You will be shown some cold connecting techniques to add the enamelled pieces to a piece of silver to make a colourful pair of earrings.

The afternoon will be spent learning various ways to apply liquid enamel to make colourful and exciting patterns to your metal using wet coloured enamels.  You will be provided with copper to experiment drawing into the enamels.

By the end of the day you will have your own range of vibrant coloured samples to take home along with the knowledge of a new skill.

All silver will be supplied by The Precious Metals Workshop.
