January 2013 News

21st December 2012

A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from The Out of the Blue Team. Thank you for your support in 2012 and we look forward to welcoming you to the Drill Hall in 2013.

The OOTB Drill Hall winter warmer events include a fabulous festive Flea Market (29th), which offers the chance to select the present you would have really liked for Christmas. Further popular Flea Market action on the 26th January. Wiff Waff Wednesday organisers Riff and Raff spin some relaxed tunes and serve fine cafe fayre to accompany a  lightly competitive/ fiercely fought tournament on the 9th Jan.

Bruncheon (12th) is another cafe treat. The Sound of Muesli celebrates its 5-year anniversary. Bringing back the best of five years of performers and menu delicacies, with an extra special musical bill curated by Ten Tracks.

Cafe closed 23rd December – reopening for the fabulous Flea Market on the 29th. Closed 30th Dec until re-opening on the 5th Jan.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
