Leith Interventions Exhibition

Tuesday 27th May - Thursday 29th May 2014
Exhibition event on 27th May 5.30pm-7.30pm

Masters students from The University of Edinburgh’s MSc in Advanced Sustainable Design are continuing with Leith Interventions; investigating the development of Leith into a more sustainable area. This year the projects are focussed on sites in and around Leith links.

The exhibition of work from Edinburgh University architecture students looks at fresh and unexpected ways in which Leith can be viewed and regenerated. The projects by students look to sites that are reclaimed for the public realm and put to sustainable use. It provides a site for speculation and imaginative thinking about what Leith might be not just next year but over the course of decades. The exhibition builds on work displayed in previous years to provide a rich base of ideas and opportunity

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
