‘Let there be Light’ Exhibition
Monday 4th April - Saturday 11th June 2016
At the beginning of February, #artcore took over Central Library for a fun-packed day of live music and arts activities. Throughout the day, featured artist Graeme MacKellaig sketched the Library’s interior and architecture, creating some wonderful illustrations. #artcore will be holding an exhibition at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall called ‘Let there be Light’ for the public to come along and view the work created.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a zine-publication created by Graeme and Out of the Blueprint trainee Jack Salvona; a compilation of illustrations and creative writing material by young people participating in #artcore’s Writers Inc Workshops held at Central Library and Craigmillar Library.
For more information on our Spring programme and workshops we have to offer to young people, we will have copies of our programme on display at the exhibition, or alternatively you can head straight over to our #artcore programme.
