RITUALS FOR CHANGE

RITUALS FOR CHANGE
Monday 24th August – Friday 28th August 2015

We who are changing

We who invite trouble

Your eyebrows renew themselves every 64 days.

Each cell in your body regenerates every 7 years.

Your whole life has been a series of events that have brought you to this place at this exact moment in time.

It could be a test result, a phone call, a bus turning left that you just didn’t see; a poorly timed joke or a chance encounter on a train station. Every single day something changes.

For better or for worse?

We who leave this place different

From when we arrived

Rituals for Change is a new performance from None of Us is Yet a Robot – a company exploring gender identity & the politics of transition through a series of live & online events.

Using projection, conversation and visual art it is a series of rituals created to explore a gender transition and the fluid notion of change.

The company is led by Emma Frankland in collaboration with producer Abby Butcher. This production is in collaboration with EilidhMacAskill and MyriddinWannell. Supported by Pink Fringe and the Hall For Cornwall Creation Space.

  • Donate

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
