An exciting exhibition of new comic work by Jack Stamp
* Exhibition extended to Saturday 12th October *
Meet ‘Plasticine Cowboy’, a new exhibition and comic created by Out of the Blueprint’s latest artist-in-residence, Jack Stamp, during his residency in summer of 2024.
Using a mixture of modelling and riso printing Jack has created a character and story that draws from a time honoured tradition to quite literally come off the page!
Jack Stamp is an illustrator and designer from Edinburgh. He trained at The University of Dundee, graduating initially with a degree in Illustration, before undertaking a Master’s in Comics and Graphic Novels.
Out of the Blueprint is a social enterprise, set up specifically to support artists under 25 years old. We do this through offering eco printing service to our community, using the surplus to support residencies, traineeships, exhibitions and creative projects.
Out of the Blueprint’s creative programme is gratefully supported by the William Grant Foundation.
