Sensatronic Lab: Open Day

Saturday 2nd September 2017
10am - 4pm, free drop-in

Sensatronic Lab are facilitating six accessible monthly music and technology sessions, starting with a drop-in Open Day on Saturday 2nd September. Open to young people with additional support needs, between the ages of 0 -25. Individual and group sessions available.

The Sensatronic Lab is funded by Creative Scotland, through its Time to Shine Digital project. It’s aimed at young people from birth to 25, to help overcome the barriers of disability and social and economic exclusion.

The Sensatronic-Lab is entirely youth-led and is all about finding innovative ways of creative self expression with young people, to access music, sound and sensory technology. It allows young people to create a unique ‘sensory orchestra’ which can be shared through live performances and audio and visual distribution.

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

    We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
