Calling all 16-25 year olds looking for ideas and inspiration on what’s next in life!

somewhereto_ Hatch A Plan will be coming to Edinburgh’s Out of the Blue Drill Hall on 23rd of March from 17:30-21:30 to help you to kickstart your future plans, whatever stage you’re at.

Featuring workshops from #artcore & Out of the Blueprint, panel discussion chaired by Visual Artist Unit, with enterprising creative practitioners sharing their experiences thus far, open source skills sessions where you can talk about setting up an event and managing marketing on a shoestring, as well as catching up with Voluntary Arts Scotland & Bridge 2 Business who will be running drop-in skills audits.

Joining us throughout the evening will be members of the Rhubaba team and Topaz Pauls from All The Young Nudes // Edinburgh!

This event is the perfect opportunity for you to see how your talents, passions and interests could be turned into a business. If you’re wondering what to do next, then this is the event for you.

somewhereto_ Hatch A Plan is run by somewhereto_, a UK wide programme which unlocks free space for 16-25 year old creatives and entrepreneurs. The initiative is funded by a £7 million grant from the Big Lottery Fund.

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.
