Special Movie & Meal event – part of Take One Action Film Festival (Scotland’s global change cinema project)

Admission includes a 3-course meal, served alongside and inspired by the film, cooked by Anna Hamilton (Alright Treacle) – using locally sourced, seasonal and mainly organic ingredients.

Join us before and after the film to find out about sustainable food production in Scotland.

GOOD THINGS AWAIT
A beautiful, lyrical account of a farmer’s bio-dynamic approach to agriculture, nutrition and the cosmos – filmed over the course of four seasons.
Concerns over climate change, animal welfare and sustainable food production form a pressing backdrop to this poetic portrait of an octogenarian on a mission. Niels Stokholm, a stubborn, hard-working and articulate proponent of bio-dynamic agriculture, founded his farm 40 years ago, with the aim of preserving an ancient cattle breed and growing his products in harmony with the universe.
Though he now supplies some top Danish restaurants, his unusual methods have fallen foul of the country’s agricultural authorities…
