Active Inquiry presents The Balancing Act

Becky wants to be a good mother and to advance her career. After taking some time to support her child through her early years, she is now ready to return to work. But Becky soon finds out that juggling the demands of an employer, childcare providers and a child labelled with “behavioural difficulties” is difficult to manage.
This latest piece of Forum Theatre from Active Inquiry invites the audience to participate in the play and to help Becky navigate through the barriers she faces.
The Scottish Government is at the beginning stages of developing a new Out of School Childcare Policy and this piece will be an opportunity to feed into this and make your voice heard!
