Our ever-popular Drill Hall Christmas Arts Markets will return in December with an exciting extra market date!

As well as our usual Saturday and Sunday markets, due to demand there will be an extra market on the Friday evening from 5pm – 9pm. A great chance to have a glass of wine and do some early evening Christmas shopping. Plus, we have an exciting multi-day entry offer – see below for details.

Across the three days, over 100 of our hand-picked local independent artists and makers will be selling their work, with different stallholders on each of the three days.

With stalls selling a wide range of goods from paintings, prints and homewares through to jewellery, textiles and ceramics, there’s something for everyone. Each market day will have a different selection of stallholders.

The fully licensed Drill Hall Cafe will be open throughout selling mulled wine, teas, coffees and treats.

Dates, Times and Prices

  • Friday 6th December | 5pm – 9pm
  • Saturday 7th December | 11am – 5pm 
  • Sunday 8th December | 12noon – 5pm 

Tickets:  | £3 / £1.50 concessions per day. Under 12s go free.

Buy a multi-day pass for £5 giving you access to either two or three markets.

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.
