Arts Market Stall
The Arts Market is a chance for local artists and makers to sell their work and interact with both new and existing customers. Applications for our 2025 Winter Arts Market will open on Thursday 4th September. Find out more about booking a stall and our key dates for 2025.
About
This popular event, a fixture in our calendar for the last 20 years, is well-attended and the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere is enhanced by the refreshments available from the Drill Hall Arts Café. In December 2024, across three days, over 100 of our hand-picked local independent artists sold their work, with different stallholders on each of the three days.

Market dates
- Friday 5th December (evening market, as introduced in 2024)
- Saturday 6th December (daytime market)
- Sunday 7th December (daytime market)
Important dates
- Applications open: Thursday 4th September
- Applications close: Monday 15th September
You’ll be able to apply for a stall at our Winter Arts Market here from Thursday 4th September and applications will close on Monday 15th September. Numbers are limited and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer stalls to all applicants.
