About

The Drill Hall Flea Market, held on the last Saturday of every month, occupies the middle ground between the beloved car boot sale and more exclusive antiques markets. With over 40 stalls selling second hand goods you never know if you’ll pick up a great novel for £1, a piece of unique vintage clothing, or a remarkable old steamer trunk.

The Drill Hall makes an ideal venue for the market as its always bright and dry (if not warm) and we have a lovely cafe serving up home made cakes, rolls, & hot tea and coffee through the day.

The stall fee is £30 for a 6’x 8’ pitch. £5 charge for table or rail. Your fee includes VAT at 20%.

How To Book A Stall

Please read the full Flea Market Terms and Conditions before booking a stall.

  • The best way to book is by popping into the Drill Hall and booking in person.
  • If stall pitches are still available you may be able to book by calling us on 0131 555 7100 (extension 2).

Please note that we don’t sell our Flea Market pitches via third parties. All bookings should be made either in-person at the Drill Hall or via phone.

We need your name and address (for market licence purposes) and a contact phone number. Due to high demand for pitches no stall holders will be permitted to book every market or more than two pitches per market.

Important Information for Stallholders

As this is a second hand market:

  • No new goods or food products to be offered for sale. For newly-crafted and handmade goods please see our Arts Market Stall page.
  • No goods deemed by the organisers to be inappropriate/suspect or ‘non traditional’ flea.

If in doubt, please call the Drill Hall cafe on 0131 555 7100 (extension 2).
