Mairi lives in Leith with her husband, two kids and a kitten called Pluto! A textile graduate from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, she lived in Japan for a year after art college before returning to Scotland to start Mairi MacSween Designs in 2002. She originally started designing and making greetings cards but was commissioned to design some wedding stationery and never looked back...
Her award winning stationery is all meticulously handmade with great attention to detail and she enjoys working with clients from through out the world to create their dream stationery.
Since she was a wee girl, she loved drawing and painting and all of her designs feature her original artworks which makes them completely unique. She works mainly in pencil and watercolour and also accepts illustration commissions.
The stationery is printed on high quality board and papers which are FSC certified and sourced from within the UK. From save the dates to a seating plan, she will work with you to create stationery for your special day!
