As a documentary filmmaker, I do everything from pre-production to post production. My current project, Forgotten Crisis, is a short documentary about South Sudanese refugees living in a refugee camp in Northern Uganda.

Synopsis: In Pagirinya 1 Refugee Camp in Uganda, Moses, a South Sudanese refugee, faces the challenge of creating sustainable solutions for himself and his community as the rest of the world has forgotten they exist. The camp, plagued by food insecurity, poor access to education, and tribal tensions, is a place of both struggle and resilience. As a leader, Moses steps up to provide hope and solutions for his community, despite the ever-present uncertainty about whether they will return home. Alongside his brother-in-law, Santos, who has also taken in unaccompanied minors, Moses works to unify different tribes, educate children, and develop sustainable projects like greenhouses and vocational training. The film captures the daily realities, struggles, and the enduring spirit of refugees, painting a picture of resilience and hope. Moses hopes for a brighter future led by the next generation.
