Tuesday 10th - Friday 13th May 2022

10am - 5pm, free entry, (Closing at 2pm on Friday 13th May)

Taking place during Mental Health Awareness week, this exhibition showcases a range of original works by 23 artists. The artists all experience complex and enduring mental health conditions, and many of them have never displayed their art in public before. The works are created using a variety of mediums and encompass a mix of drawings, painting, sculpture, spoken word, textiles, and photography. Many pieces are for sale, with all proceeds of sale going directly to the artists.

My Mind Matters is delivered in partnership with Carr Gomm, Volunteer Edinburgh, Penumbra and Edinburgh Health & Social Care Partnership.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
