An afternoon introductory workshop to linocut printing with Abbeymount artist Rosanna Reade
In this afternoon class, you will learn the basics of making a linocut print, and will leave with at least 1 print of your own making and design!
This workshop is designed to help you learn how to print at home.
What the class involves:
- What is lino printing? A brief history!
- An exploration of artists and their mark making
- Practising with softcut lino
- Transferring an image
- How to draw for lino
- Printing and pressing
Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided, and full information will be sent in the week prior.
