A two-day weekend workshop with Drill Hall based artist Felicity Inkpen
Want to be able to draw your dog? Capture your cat? Artistically represent your iguana?
In this workshop, artist Felicity Felicity Inkpen will lead you through the foundational skills you need to draw any animal, in any pose. You’ll then use your photos of your beloved pets to explore how to make artworks in pencil, charcoal, inks, and different printmaking techniques.
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave the two-day workshop with artworks of your favourite animal, and a whole bunch of new artistic skills to develop. Please bring a selection of photos of your pet(s) to this workshop, and get in touch if you need access to a printer ahead of the workshop.
The workshop will run from 11am to 3.30pm on both Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September.
